At Tree Central, tree care isn’t just a job—it’s a way of life. Founded by Callum Mitchell, a qualified arborist with deep roots in the industry, Tree Central brings expert tree care to the Motueka and Tasman region.

Callum’s journey with trees began long before Tree Central was born. Growing up in Scotland, he was surrounded by the professional tree care industry from an early age. His father, a seasoned tree expert, passed down a passion for trees which was then furthered by studying at the Scottish School of Forestry and Primary ITO in NZ. This taught him the importance of proper tree maintenance, disease prevention, and sustainable arboriculture. His experience ranges from climbing trees as a kid to working in professional Forest Management in Scotland and Finland, before spending the last seven years as a professional arborist in New Zealand.

Now settled in New Zealand with his Kiwi wife and young family, Callum has brought his skills and expertise to the local community. At Tree Central, he offers pruning, tree removals, health assessments, and expert advice—all with the same dedication and care that have been in his family for generations. Whether it’s a delicate trim to encourage growth or a full removal for safety reasons, Callum ensures every tree gets the attention it deserves.
